Hm - I thought Canada accomplished that last time we made it (about 20 years ago)
it is the opposite actually, in 1986, canada got eliminated with putting one goal. We got eliminated without getting one goal...
Oh I understand. Switzerland was eliminated despite not allowing a single goal.
I wonder if any team has ever done the complete opposite: advanced while failing to score a single goal?
I do not think. In Mexico, Italy did not win a single match in his group and won the cup at the end, but winning without a single goal? not yet...
